#27 Volunteer for a cause I believe in!

It's hard to describe the feeling you get in your belly when you get to be a part of something much bigger than yourself! Whatever that feeling is, I got it volunteering with Habitat for Humanity! :)

Habitat had been on my list to volunteer with for a while!

One - because it gave me the opportunity to help out with a cause I believed in

Two - I was hoping it would help me improve my very unimpressive manual labor skills

It turned out to be such a rewarding experience! :) I've never felt so much joy moving bricks, transporting scaffolding, and unloading materials from a truck! And I had chills listening to the volunteers describe the ways families were impacted by Habitat's projects: (kids who could now go to college, families who could now afford healthy food, etc) for generations! :)

I never want to forget this feeling! And hope to be a part of more opportunities that allow me to be a part of the beautiful things happening all around me!
