A waitress that served us said: "the southwest is a magical place"
And I would have to agree - from its incredible people (Shoutout Jen, Eliana, Bri & roommates and other friendly people I met), unreal views. and great brews (not really but it rhymed), I felt deeply the magic of the Southwest during my 10 days there! :)
I didn't go more than 5 minutes without someone looking me in the eye and greeting with that Southwest genuine kindness!
Couldn't drive more than a few miles without having a view of an insane canyon or beautiful desert or gigantic mountain.
And never knew a place so far away could feel so much like home. (Definitely helped that the food was 1000%! #christmaschile #NM)
I'd been dreaming of this trip for 4 years, and it was everything I dreamed of and more. So grateful I got to get a taste of the magic of the Southwest and can't wait to come back for more! :)
My deepest gratitude to the peoples who have nurtured, sustained, and cared for this land long before any of us
arrived on it. We all are indebted to you.
