Super excited to explore the parks in Chatham! I've been to Northwest District Park tons of times and absolutely love it! The mile and a half walk around the lake is the perfect way to spend end a summer evening. Best part is not many people go there so I often have the place to myself or share it with just a few others. :) #smalltownlife

Update!!
I have now been able to visit all 4 parks in Chatham County!
#1 Northwest District Park is without a doubt my favorite and a hidden gem. With the gorgeous pond, flowing 1 mile hiking trail, and meditation just oft the beaten path, it's definitely a 10/10!
I love the wide open fields my friend and I found to play soccer and frisbee in at Northeast District Park, and I'm sure I'll be back to play some tennis there at some point. Great place to go if you have a dog and you need a place to let it roam around!
#2 Southwest District Park is the perfect place to go for an evening stroll after a big meal or to get a game of volleyball or tennis volleyball (DM me for deets on how to play!).
#3 The Park at Briar Chapel - Enjoyed this park that features a walking trail, dog park, and lots of ball fields!
#4 Northeast District Park - Cool spot that has tennis courts and big field to play soccer, kickball or throw a frisbee like my friend and I did!
#5 Early Thompson Park in Bynum didn't have a lot to offer - there you will find a playground and softball field! But it's good to know where I can go once I start my kickball Chatham County Kickball league!
