*** Cliffs of the Nuese Park is on The traditional lands of the Tuscarora and Saponi Peoples***
I got to cross of State Park #18 at Cliffs of the Nuese State Park!
The trail we hiked was a very well marked and maintained trail that meanders around the Nuese River. :) At the top, you get a view of the Nuese from one of the 90 ft. cliffs found throughout the park! The park also features a swimming area that I'm sure is popping during the warm summer months!
On the way back, Thao and I got to check out the famed Chef & Farmer restaurant in Kinston, NC (part of Lenoir County) and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
OMG! I really don't have the words to describe the explosion of amazingness that happened in my mouth, so you should just go check it out yourself! :)
PLEASE GO to "Chef and The Farmer! If you ever find yourself in Kinston, NC!
My hiking/adventure buddy!
