Falls Lake

***Falls Lake is on the land of the Lumbee and Tuscarora Peoples***

I did my first open water swim at Falls Lake in preparation for my first Triathlon! :) (More on that to come) And although I was hella scared, it was so nice to go for an open water swim for the first time! (Don't worry I had some trusted watchful eyes looking over me)

Even though Falls Lake is right in my back yard, I think I'd taken it for granted! The beach/swim area is beautiful! Perfect for an afternoon picnic or lazy day at the lake! I for sure will be coming back!
