*** I was on the traditional lands of the Lumbee and Tuscarora Peoples***

Got to cross of my first State Parks in the Sandhills region of my list by visiting Carver's Creek and Weymouth Woods State Parks!

I LOVED having the opportunity to bring my bike out to travel around the 2.5 miles trail at Carver's Creek State Park. Part of the trial takes you by a beautiful millpod (so beautiful I almost crashed in fact!)

Carver's Creek also featured a vacation home that was used by one of the Rockefeller's! James Rockefeller, who was the great nephew of John Rockefeller!

I also enjoyed Weymouth Woods State Park! Hiking through the beautiful Pine Tree forests was a treat! :)

Also got to cross off Cumberland County from the list!
