Morrow Mountain State Park

Loved my time at Morrow Mountain State Park! Who knew just an hour and some change away from my homebase in Pittsboro was this hidden gem! Unfortunately, most of the fun stuff at the park, like the museum, swimming pool, and kayak/canoe rentals, was closed but that just means I'll have to come back!

I loved the Fall Mountain and Morrow Mountain trials that we did! And the campsites were super clean and clear!

If you're looking for a place with epic views and gigantic mountains, Morrow Mountain may not be the place for you, but if you're looking for a spot to get away for the weekend, you definitely won't go wrong with stopping by Morrow Mountain State Park!
