Crossing Jordan Lake State Park off the list with the Bros!

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

***Jordan Lake State Park is on the traditional land of the Shakori/Tuscarora/Shakori Indigenous Peoples***

Although I've been to Jordan lake tons of times, this trip was special because I had 6 of my closest guy friends there with me for 30th birthday! We played, swam, 'yaked, and had the most intense KanJam tournament in the history of the sport. It was an incredible way to cross this State Park off the list!

Highlights:

- Finding a campsite with a view of the lake

- Swimming/Kayaking

- Hanging with the bros

- Coming in 3rd place of the KanJam tournament.... Out of 3 :( (We'll be back next year!)

*** Pro tip*** If you want to know how to find some of the best spots on the lake even if you wait until the last minute hit me up, and I'll give you the low down. This tip so pro I can't put it on the blog!

Shout outs - Shout out to my neighbor who let me borrow TWO of his kayaks and my landlord's daughter who was nice enough to drive them to us AND pick them up!
