***Raven Rock State Park is on the traditional land of Siouan and Tuscarora Indigenous Peoples***
There were moments where I wasn't sure if I was in central North Carolina or central Utah! The rock formations in the park were super cool and amazingly spectacular to look at and play on!
I did the Raven Rock Trail, and it did not disappoint! The trail was super wide and very well kept; the overlook view was a 10/10; and the tumbling creeks kept the peaceful sound of water never too far away!
Highlights:
- View from the Overlooks
- Playing/Climbing (and almost falling) on the rocks
- Taking in the sight of the massive Raven Rock
Pro-Tip: Get there early as this place is a pretty popular park!
Two Birds: Raven Rock State Park is in Harnett County, so I can cross that one off the list!
